If Karros has a lisp, everyone has a lisp. I don't notice a thing.

 

Glanville? Yeah, there's a minor lisp there, and I still wouldn't mind him.

It bugs the [expletive] out of me, too. I often change the channel or mute the TV when he's talking.

I have a feeling that the people who do notice it will just get used to it. Remember how often people complained about Len's voice (and HR call) when he first got hired?

 

Now Josh Lewin. That was an awful lisp.

Now Josh Lewin. That was an awful lisp.

Len's voice is still nasally and annoying, and his HR voice crack still sucks. However, he's a smart broadcaster whose commentary is excellent.

 

If Karros can't provide the latter, I doubt the lisperers will be able to deal.

It's like when you meet a fat ugly stranger and you are really aware of how fat and ugly they are compared to when you know them that's just what they look like. I'd imagine that people who come into constant contact with Paul Sullivan aren't always thinking about how he looks like a troll of some kind.

Haha, I think the analogy is more like meeting a fat and ugly stranger, but then realizing that they're actually really smart and a nice person. They have good attributes to balance out the bad.

 

Deep down, I hope Sullivan's colleagues call him Gollum or something behind his back.

The NFL needs to do away with that crap. Horrible games with crappy coverage. I watch college football on ESPN on Thursday night unless the Bears are playing.

Well this weeks game wasn't so awesome, but I think the coverage is second only to NBC. ESPN gets docked for Gruden.
