In six years, the NCAA is really gonna let them have it.

 

I remember initially there was a lot of questions about McKnight and USC when he first signed on. This might get very interesting.

Iowa would be in for a long ass year if they didn't have the easiest first 5 games in all the BCS.

Yup. This was probably the worst defense for Denard to matchup against.

 

I guess that is true about a lot of Alabama opponents though.

pretty obvious the michigan coaches realize this is a lost cause, and they're not going to let denard run and get injured just so they can maybe lose 42-7 instead of 42-0

This is not a SEC thing, which I fear is going to be the narrative. This is an Alabama is [expletive] awesome thing. Oh, and Michigan shouldn't be in the top 10, that too.

 

Alabama is kind of on a level of its own, but the top end of the SEC West (Bama/LSU/Ark/maybe even Auburn) is really good. The SEC East, on the other hand, is pretty weak - Tennessee/Georgia/S Carolina/Missouri are probably top 15-25 teams and Florida could be in that group or it could be awful.

I was cautiously optimistic about tis season for KU. Thought maybe we could snag five wins, six if we caught some breaks. Now, not so much. Pretty lackluster in our win over South Dakota State. Crist was unimpressive. Oh well. At least our players look in shape this year.

Trying to watch VT/GT on WatchESPN is making me want to scream into a pillow. If they want to try to bilk more money from cable providers and consumers by moving behind a second cable wall for big games, that's fine. But not only is it impossible to get straight to WatchESPN content, but I'm stuck in an infinite loop of authentication when I do finally get to the ESPN feed instead of ESPN3. Unbelievably awful execution from the WWL.
