Gary Thorne and Vin Scully both ahead of the Cubs team, time to set those rankings on fire.

I really dislike Gary Thorne. Don't get the love for him at all.

Baritone voice. I have never gotten the love for Scully. He's always been boring and tedious.

I like Gary Thorne when he does hockey.

Even though ESPN hasn't had hockey in a long time now he's still the "voice of national broadcast hockey" for me and it's still weird for me to hear him do other sports.

Yup, very good voice that sticks with people.

I remember when he was doing hockey and the Mets at the same time. I thought he was pretty good back then.

Bryce Harper needs surgery after tearing the UCL in his thumb sliding into third base on a triple. He'll be out till at least early July.

Thankfully for Washington, Harper never hustles and can't be that good because he bats seventh.

Holy [expletive], he was batting 7th? Matt Williams is kinda dumb.

See now there is a silver lining. At least Matt Williams isn't coaching the Cubs.

Matt Williams also benched Harper previously for NOT hustling

you know, the guy who busted his face open on a fence

Maybe if Williams hadn't benched Harper, he would've been content with a stand up double instead of trying for the triple and wouldn't be out until July

Way to go, Matt.

For not hustling on a ground ball back to the pitcher he was thrown out by 60 feet on.

if he had hustled he could've only been out by 30 feet! you get extra points for that right.

The hustling incident happened in his second game back from missing games with a quad injury. What a [expletive] joke.

you're a joke, matt Williams.

Four days earlier, Harper was pulled from a game by Williams for “lack of hustle” on a groundout to first. Against the Angels, Harper had a similar play. With one out and trailing by two runs, he hit a groundball to first baseman Albert Pujols, who misplayed it. Harper jogged out of the batter’s box but then raced down the line when he saw Pujols’ mistake. Harper was safe but it was too close a play.

“He’s safe at first base,” Williams said. “That’s all I care about. We’re not asking him to go 100 percent all the time, as fast as he can possibly go at every single moment. Because not everybody does. But what we expect is that to give us a chance. And he gave us a chance on that play. The ball was mishandled by Albert. He kicked it in gear and got to first base. That’s all I care about.”
