Wow...I saw it was 3-0 Cubs going into the bottom of the 9th and came back 20 minutes later to see 3 more pages in the game thread. I immediately thought '[expletive] marmol'

There needs to be a changes. There needs to be no more of not making changes and keeping these scrubs in just because they don't want to hurt their feelings and confidence with this new regime. Guys like Marmol and DeWitt should no longer be in.

This entire inning had been baffling until Dolis was finally brought in. Here's Harris' line going in to today:

He's been WRETCHED this year. There's basically no excuse to let him on base, yet Marmol is nibbling the entire time with offspeed pitches when he should just be coming right at him. Then on top of that you've got them taking way too long to get the pen going; there's no excuse for letting Marmol face Bruce when you could have had Russell ready to face him. None.

Yeah. If MLB Network hadn't switched to the game, I would have freaked out for a few seconds until the DP showed up.
