I love Oladipo, but they recent hype has been over the top. Not sure where Vitale came up with the mini-Jordan stuff. I think he's great, but that is just absurd.

We've shown signs of late. We should have beaten MSU at their place. It was unexpected, but we can play with anyone. Also Groce isn't creepy so he's cool with me.

On IU's last possession Crean was motioning something and I just assumed they were going to dribble over and call a timeout. It is obviously easy for me to sit back and critique, but I would have the ball in Ferrell's hands and let him get to the lane. Have Watford and Zeller down low, wasn't like Illinois had much size to combat it.

 

Oladipo can do a lot, but ball handling isn't his best asset.

yeah, jordan was the third pick in the draft. if anything, compare oladipo to hakeem

Meh, Gonzaga isnt a major conference team but you gotta include them among the major 2 loss teams...they have a SOS comparable to many major conference teams.

I hate how soft some aspects of college basketball have become. The incidental elbow to Plumlee's nose is not only called a foul, but the guy got a flagrant for it? That sucks. The guy should have room to make a move without the defender's beak being an issue.
