Bucknell is probably a tournament team and Purdue's best player was out. Still should've won. It's going to be a long year with 5 freshmen playing. 2-14 from 3 and a below 50% FT shooting. Gag.

I'm going to enjoy watching Iowa beat up on teams who are ranked in the 300's for awhile. It will make be believe they are good for a bit.

They are good. Two years ago they win this game by 2 on a 3pt'er by Gatens with 6 seconds left in the game as the shot clock is expiring.

They not make the tourney, but they'll be solidly on the bubble. And they'll make the tourney next year.

I think their building a great program and I think we have some good college basketball experience but I think they are too young and the non-conference schedule is too soft for them to dance. Doesn't mean I'm not ready to enjoy this team. Even though this is his third year coaching, it feels like this is Fran's first true team (though, now that I think about it, most of the team is his recruits at this point I believe.)

IU will have to figure out their scholarship situation again next year. Vonleh committed to Indiana last night.

Well that was fast. Should be a top 5-10 recruiting class when all is said and done.

See what? IU has 4 seniors, plus Zeller. Zeller is not returning, I think that is quite clear.

If Creek can prove he is healthy, he is a senior as well. He may want to start making some money overseas if given the opportunity. I recall reading he has a child on the way. Oladipo could enter the discussion of leaving early if he improves upon what he already showed as a sophomore.

I think Crean has a handle on this situation, most likely a better one than you and I.

Creek might want to pursue a career overseas. Nice way of saying he's getting ran out of town. Also weren't you guys just telling us last year how Zeller would e in school all four years?

I've never felt Zeller would stay. Apparently the kid will be just a few credits short of graduating in May. No reason for him to stay.

Creek might want to get paid while healthy is my point. He deserves that opportunity given what he has been through.

You don't know what will happen anymore than I do. Those were just the most likely scenarios.

Back to Vonleh, Crean has by now proven to the top talent that IU is a good place to go to. I don't think that will change. He cancelled trips to OSU and Syracuse, that's says a lot for the attractiveness if the IU program right now.

Watford was going to go pro last year. He didn't and a kid got creaned. What if Zeller gets hurt like Creek? What if Oladipo doesn't develop? Is IU the only team in America overcommitted right now? Probably. Fans explain it away, boosters just want to win, the administration turns a blind eye. Hoo Hoo Hoosiers.

You really want to compare the pro prospects of Watford and Zeller?

Patterson ended up at Syracuse, I think he will be fine. His situation has been well covered.

If Patterson was really screwed as many of you want to believe, why be so silent on it? Why wouldn't he blast the program?

Crean's not the laughingstock many painted him to be his first few years. He turned this thing around before many thought possible. Hope you really enjoyed those few years because I don't see them returning very soon.
