Yeah I really haven't seen much video on him so I have no idea. Iowa also has a 5-man class and they've talked about being very selective of the final ride, likely planning on carrying it over to '13. They want an athletic 6'5-6'6 wing who can create off the dribble.

If OSU whiffs on everyone they're going to have 2 classes in 4 years (and 2 years with 0 recruits 2009/2012). That's kind of strange.

 

edit: nevermind they just (4/21) signed some guy named Amedeo Della Valle who isn't in the 2012 Rivals 150 or Scout 100.

 

double edit: looks like Michigan was recruiting the Della Valle guy too...

we were for a little bit, but i think that was only when we thought we'd lose Burke

we'll probably end up with him, it seems; people bring up the "he's underrated, a great fit for Beilein's system" line, to which i always automatically assume that means he draws a lot of charges and hits some open threes

Yeah, I'm nowhere near as excited. I really like Anderson's game but Muhammad will be a year and gone and Parker seems like a project. Howland has nothing for the 2013 recruiting class, this is where the SI article will hurt.

 

For those questioning how Howland got this class with all the negative going around the program - it's all about Muhammad wanting to go there, Parker and Anderson are very, very close friends with Muhammad. It does help that one of the new assistant coaches used to be an AAU coach in Georgia.

Looking it up, you're right. I thought he coached a rival AAU team from Georgia, but that was the case with Jordan Adams.

So apparently Purdue is really getting in on Caris Levert. The Purdue Rivals site interviewed his high school coach and he said Purdue has made it clear that there is an offer if he wants one. I guess he's a late bloomer. The fact that Michigan and Iowa are in on him is comforting if he does end up coming.

As much as I'm loving the NC State love for next year, I've seen as high as #4 and #6 in the nation. I think they CAN reach that ceiling, but I'm hoping they open the year around 15ish. They lost a couple key guys and you never know how soon the three McDonald AA will mesh (or if one or two will be a flop - I'm pretty positive Purvis is the real deal).

 

Still, CJ Leslie returning was HUGE. Never been more excited about an upcoming college basketball season!!
