So what year will Uthoff be when he is finally able to play? Will he be a sophomore?

Yep, RS-Sophomore. 3 years of eligibility.

Does anyone have any idea which way he's leaning? Or is this kind of he just wanted out of Wisconsin, now he has to decide where he wants to go time?

He's visiting Creighton on Monday, Iowa State in early May and the other two schools he's mentioned are Northern Iowa and Florida.

Man, Florida? That really doesn't sound like a good fit.

check this [expletive] thread out.

then i get this....

I see you're at it again in the logo thread. Are you the PC police or something? For the most part, people who post here are not racist, yet you seem to take everything that is said as if it were. You turn too many threads into a discussion of race/ethnicity which is beyond the purview of this board. We're getting complaints from other posters about your rants.

If you continue this behavior, I will be forced to ban you permanently. It's up to you. As far as I'm concerned, this is your final warning.

i like the new one. the old one was a cigar store indian.

I really love the one of the Indian where the headdress spells out Illinois. Not sure it was ever a real logo, but I love how it looks.

Tony Parker, a 5-star C from Georgia, signed with UCLA yesterday.

yesss, he had seemed OSU-bound

If OSU whiffs on everyone they're going to have 2 classes in 4 years (and 2 years with 0 recruits 2009/2012). That's kind of strange.

edit: nevermind they just (4/21) signed some guy named Amedeo Della Valle who isn't in the 2012 Rivals 150 or Scout 100.

double edit: looks like Michigan was recruiting the Della Valle guy too...

I'm not a big fan of Della Valle.

how in the world has Howland attracted these guys after he's run the program into the ground AND gotten blistered by that SI article?

Wasn't the article all about how the star players got away with anything and everything? Maybe it helped.

Some Ohio de-commit apparently has Iowa, Purdue and Michigan as his final 3. Claims offers from Iowa and Purdue, not one from Michigan yet but he's visiting there.

Can't Howland also point to the NBA stars he helped develop? I think he has a better group of pros than Calipari does. Thus far anyways.

The last thing Purdue needs is a six man class. We need a one year transfer or a couple walk ons get one year rides. Especially since this guy would be riding the pine. He would be a good fit for Iowa probably.

Well Jay Simpson should be one and done so you've gotta reload that class somehow.

Wouldn't surprise me if he redshirted.
