I think it's stupid he wasn't suspended. But it's all about business. And whether we like it or not, the Heat is good for the NBA's business. People are going to tune in to see them lose. If the ECF is Indiana/Philly, NO ONE outside of those two markets is going to give a [expletive]. Ratings drive this crap, whether we like it or not.

Im still confused why anybody but a Pacers fan would prefer to watch the Heat sans Wade for any reason much less a pretty hard foul. Unless you just started watchign the NBA last season, you wouldve seen fouls like Wade's about once a week.

The NBA league office decisions are inherently arbitrary. I dont care to hold them to the standard of maintaining consistency between the regular season Jason Smith foul and the postseason Wade foul. Im glad they dont.

Or how Lebron almost went all Meta World Peace on that one Pacer after he got fouled and lost his headband. He raised up his left elbow and came pretty close to hitting him in the face.

I found this more egregious than what Wade did. Sure, Wade connected while James missed, but James was throwing an elbow at the head/face of Granger.

frank vogel is a genius for working the refs and calling the heat floppers before the series even started. the heat aren't playing with the physicality they usually play with. could be a coincidence, but they seem to be playing soft.

Lebron is going to connect on one of those elbows.

LeBron throws an elbow at Granger 9for the second time, Granger says something and of course it's Granger who gets a tech.
