LOL 2 of Washington's 3 picks have been QBs.

If they had more picks to play with it would make sense. Rg3 is a bigger risk than people are suggesting. And cousins is a project. The competition may also help. They do still have a few after the trade

Andy, I think Carolina has one of the top 3 drafts so far. Love what they are doing.

Still don't have a DT, but I think Kuechly and Silatolu are pro-bowl potential players. Joe Adams is a better receiving version of Devin Hester. Josh Norman, I think is a steal at this point. If you can get Alexander to come to play every week off the edge, damn good draft class so far.

Mayock is agreeing with me as I type.

Vikings have taken 2 guys from USC, 2 from Notre Dame, 2 from Arkansas. And both Arkansas guys are WR's, both Notre Dame guys could end up being safeties. Sounds like Blanton could go either way in a cover-2. 6'1, 207, good tackler and physical but only a 4.66 40.

Like their draft too. Added some team speed on that turf....for now.

Packers are really addressing areas of need. What a concept.

Right? I never thought much of the "best player available" concept when there is a serviceable player still available that could help fill a need. Sometimes those two things are the same, but not always.

I'm pretty shocked the Titans haven't taken an interior offensive lineman yet. They considered Konz before taking Zack Brown and then followed that up with passing on Ben Jones in the 3rd and Senio Kelemete in the 5th.

Pretty happy with most of the picks we've made, but I am curious about ignoring the offensive line.

Fun Fact: Jarius Wright and Greg Childs played together in high school and jr. high. They've known each other since the 3rd grade.

Really intrigued by Taylor Thompson. I wasn't familiar with him at the time of the pick, but reading up on him some he seems like a bit of a physical freak at DE. Something we really need.

Hate that we gave up our 7th rounder to get him, but from the looks of it he may be worth it.

Love the Joe Adams pick. Hopefully he can become another much needed offensive weapon

Believe he worked out as both a DE and TE at his pro day. Imagine you guys would be looking more for a DE, but I think he may project better as a TE.

Blanton is definitely a S at the next level. Far too slow but very good tackler.

Yeah, when I first looked him up, I saw him listed as a TE, but assumed it was a mistake since NFL Network labeled him as a DE. Sounds like he does have more upside on the offensive side of the ball, so I'm hoping they go with him there despite the need for an end. Especially since we took Solomon in the 7th.

EDIT: It appears the Titans did draft him as a TE and even pulled out Jimmy Graham/Rob Gronkowski comps when talking about him. If he really does play with 4.5 speed, then at 6'6 he could be really good.

I think the Cardinals had a surprisngly good draft....Massie was a steal of course...I think Lindley was a top 5 QB in this draft....got some secondary help wih a great athlete in Bethiel and Fleming earlier....Potter was a good 7th round grab...Good for them.

I think my favorite part of the draft is hearing Mayock refer to players as "speed deficient."

For me, it was Rich Eisen losing his mind when the Jaguars took a punter in the third round.

Rich was funny....there's that, and there was right before the draft began they showed a shot of someone in the green room on a cell phone and he shouted "Is he on a cell phone? CUT AWAY! CUT AWAY!!"

I didn't even think about flipping over to ESPN during the draft. The Eisen/Davis/Mayock crew was really good throughout the draft. The cellphone thing you mentioned was pretty funny.
