Really fun pitcher to watch for sure. Everything moves.

 

I've thought about Cano/Castro...It's a route. Cano came up with the same kind of profile, and it took alot of work for him to become the brickhouse hitter he is.

If the unthinkable happens and the Cardinals upset the Phillies, it will end up a mid market nightmare the rest of the way for Turner. He might want to consider having one of his guys kneecap Pujols or Carpenter. Theriot too just for fun. Maybe a few more Cardinals just to be safe.

i know the d-backs have some lousy hitters, but is it really a good idea to have a pair of guys who OPS'ed around .650 at the top of the lineup in game 5? their 6-7-8 hitters were all better than willie bloomquist and aaron hill this year.

I thought that it was an unwritten rule that teams with Willie Bloomquist in their starting lineup were banned from the playoffs no matter their record.

Just out of curiosity, why the hell wouldn't Gibson have had Hill bunt with guys on 1st and 2nd and 0 out? That could prove quite fatal.
