Don't be That Guy.

Their teams that aren't as good tend to achieve more. And they are on fire right now.

The Phillies can't hit, Brewers can. Cards wont get past Milwaukee.

They won a World Series with Jeff Suppan, Jeff Weaver, Anthony Reyes as their rotation.

And yet, more often than not, the Cardinals do not win the WS.

I'm hoping for an incredibly heart breaking loss for the Cards. Like a 2 run walk-off home run with two outs in the 9th or something.

i'd rather have them score 15 runs in the bottom of the 7th. don't want to have to worry any more than i have to about these a-holes winning the league or the world series.

True but they beat out Philly they have no other huge obstacles left. Milwaukee can hit, but they're not nearly as good as Philly.

Yes, no other obstacles...except for the two teams they'd have to win 8 games against. Might as well just give them the trophy now.

If they go through Philly you don't think that makes them the favorite?

I will happily watch the Brewers go to and even win the WS a thousand times over the Cardinals.

See I can't agree there. As a Cubs fan, I hate the Cardinals because I'm bred to. However, the rivalries never been as personal for me because I don't know any Cards fans to fan those flames. With The Brewers, on the other hand, I know plenty of those cheese balls, and they have some kind of one sided rivalry with Chicago when it comes to pretty much anything. they already won the last Super Bowl and will probably win the next. They don't deserve that much happiness. Filthy creatures they are.

No, not at all.

I wish I agreed.

I have no idea how you can possibly think they're clear favorites over any of the three remaining teams in a short series. The Phillies have obvious flaws, so it's not like they are some unbeatable juggernaut.

Not sure why they'd give Howard the green light on 3-0.

Ryan Howard at 25mil is pretty scary.

Scary? are you a Phillies fan? it's hilarious.

We are trying to sign a 1b who is better than Howard, that scares me what it might cost.

I really don't know who I'd root for between Brewers and Cards. I hate the cards, but I really don't need to put up w/ another fan base that can one up the Cubs.

Root for the AL. Simple.

Must be because of where I live, but most Cardinal fans had wrote this season off. Then this happens, now they are all huge fans again. Go anyone but the cardinals.
