I'm already getting nervous about the Florida game. It's going to be extra tough being a road game in the Swamp, but this is a very winnable game. The key is going to be containing Rainey and Demps and Bray playing smart. If we don't turn the ball over, we should be able to score a decent amount on Florida. And the only real offensive weapons Florida has are Rainey and Demps.

If Dooley can win this game, he'll become a legend in Knoxville.

I believe this is one of the most important games of the Ron Zook era. If we win we are suddenly a team to watch in the Leaders division. Lose and the team could go into a tailspin. Given the fact that Illinois has a new AD, Zook would be well served to win this game.

I'd like to see Young get more carries this week.

3 straight weeks of 500 yards of offense and 5 TOs? We can only hope.

I'm excited to see the MSU/ND game and the OSU/Miami game. I think ND pulls it together and beats MSU pretty easily. OSU's offense is just so bad right now. It will be an interesting game in Miami, and I hope Miami kills them.

This is the 100th week that Oklahoma has been #1 in the AP poll. They're the first team to reach that milestone.

OU might be stuck at 100 for a few weeks. I'm horrified by going on the road to play against good teams.

So as I said in last week's thread, I will be at the Illinois/ASU game and it will be my 1st Illini game I've ever attended. Any suggestions from other Illini fans on things to do before/after? Any places we must eat at while there or any bars(besides Kams ha) we should go to? My whole group is late 20's early 30's but are pretty big time partiers if that helps, or makes a difference. Thanks for the suggestions

Appreciate the support EJ, but Michigan State is much better than either Michigan or USF. It won't take us turning the ball over 5 times for them to beat us.

I think MSU is a little over-rated because of last years record. Some people think that means they are not a top 50 team or something though. I wouldn't be surprised if ND beats us this weekend. We do have some tall receivers who can jump though:)

Honestly, Michigan should probably have scored about 7 points the other night. ND is much improved on both sides of the ball, and I think MSU is overrated. If you guys stop acting like idiots, I think you end up having a very nice season.

It'd be great if we could point to 1 thing or a couple serial offenders. But at this point, it's anyone's guess as to who fucks up next. Even the long-snapper, who'd never had a bad snap, muffed 2 in a row. Gary Gray, a 5th year with 2+ years starting suddenly can't win a single "throw it up for grabs" (or even turn his [expletive] head around). It's uncanny.

If I didn't have such experience with a truly cursed team, I'd think ND was cursed. Maybe the ghost of Declan Sullivan is seeking his revenge. I mean he caused Riddick to fumble the last KO just to keep the 5 TO streak going.

Hoping to reverse some bad mojo against UCLA. I was a sophomore in attendance when they curbstomped us in '97. I have a bad feeling about Saturday...
