Can anyone give me some knowledge on Jackie Bradley and the insane season he's having? I don't know much about him outside of the numbers, which are kind of shocking. Is he a top 50 guy next year?

Bradley went to South Carolina. Was considered a top 10ish type prospect, started his junior season off very well, broke his wrist, came back and struggled. Status dropped and he wound up going in the supplemental round. Excellent defensive CFer, good discipline, should hit for average, with decent(15ish HR potential) pop and decent speed. Great makeup guy, team leader type. Top 50? Possible, but he probably needs to be promoted to AA and play well there as well to jump THAT high. But he's an excellent prospect. Not a ton of ceiling, but a very high floor.

He actually struggled immensely before he broke his wrist, which is the main reason he fell down draft boards. I think he only came back in time to play the 2 games in the College World Series last year.

Basically, he's similar to Brett Jackson (no above average tools) without the contact issues but with less power.

I know he started year off hot. I thought he came back much earlier than that. Oh well, the Brett comp is a good one either way.

that's awesome. he's like one of those broken baseball mogul players

He's actually a lot like the previous Billy Hamilton. But, not as good.

Orioles' prospect right-hander Dylan Bundy was knocked around for four runs over 3 2/3 innings Thursday night with High-A Frederick.

Dylan Bundy is mortal, after all. The 19-year-old right-hander allowed five hits (including a home run) while walking two and striking out five. He now owns a 4.34 ERA and 23/6 K/BB ratio in four starts since being promoted to the Keys last month.

he's described pretty much the exact same way as Almora is, really

Good call.

I've seen a few Mark Kotsay comps for Bradley.

check out this guy

pretty good pop (18 home runs in 61 games), and draws his share of walks (30 in 61 games) - but he's struck out 114 times in 61 games. even brett jackson laughs at that. more than half of his at bats have ended with him striking out.

Nick Castellanos' AA line so far is .308/.294/.523.

That confuses me.

Sac flies count against OBP.

Yeah, basically, he has more SAC + SF than BB + HBP.

Not hard when he had 0 BB/HBP at that time...

Sacrifice bunts unlike sac flies don't count against OBP, so they shouldn't be in that particular calculation.

Joey Gallo has started his professional career of 9-26. In side the 9 hits, are 2 doubles, a triple, and 4 home runs. He has struck out 9 times as well. Oh, and he has FIFTEEN walks.

And we have a winner for the most cartoonish stat line in all of baseball. Everything about his numbers are downright comical. After 3 games he had a .643 OBP while having no hits. This included a 5 walk game. He has walked every game but one.
