Welcome to the playoffs, 2011 NBA coach of the year. Way to put your best defenders in the game to stop the Hawks instead of trying to score with them.

Asik is pretty damn good at getting in the way and using his length and Taj may be our best big man this series although Noah has done pretty well aside from tonight.

Taj Gibson was a beast!

From an Atlanta point of view that may have been as frustrating as that [expletive] oaf' success tonight. There's one infinitely big difference though, Taj can actually play basketball.

Omer set much better screens than Noah did when he was out there. Interesting to note that Thibs mentioned the lack of spacing in his interview prior to the start of the 4th. Omer plays the whole 4th and all of a sudden, the spacing problems are solved.

To be honest, I'm more concerned about Noah than Boozer right now. Noah's been getting lost on rotations quite a bit the last couple of games.

Can anyone honestly watch that 4th quarter and say any other player has to carry a heavier load than Rose?

probably not, but he's a point guard who shoots a lot, so that's not a huge shock.

Hindsight and all that, but Hinrich being out may have been the best thing to happen to the Hawks all season, because it forced Drew to use Teague. Teague's been arguably Atlanta's best player in the series.

Hawks have the edge offensively but, the Bulls have the edge on the boards and defensively, fortunately, it seems the later two lead to more playoff wins.

He's gotta be the best Hawk in the series. Every other Hawk gas been very inconsistent from game to game. Correct me if I'm wrong but Teague has been solid every game in the series.

He definitely has, noticed the Bulls forced him into some bad shots and plays in fourth however.

Back from the game. Taj is awesome. He plays great d and frankly we don't lose much on offense from a gimpy Boozer although Booze was pretty good tonight. I was waiting for the opportunity to start an OVERPAID chant if Joe Johnson ever got to the line in the second half but he didn't. The JOSH SMITH SUCKS chant is so lame. We had to do better than that.

The UC is so great to watch a game in. And that Benny the Bull is sweet. Very talented.

The Hawks have really taken Kyle Korver away from the Bulls. Every time he's on the court, they attack him, and Teague is able to chase him around like a gnat. Thibs can't afford to leave Korver out there. He played only 4 min last night. Before tonight he'd played at least 16 min in every playoff game.

Loved everything about that 4th quarter lineup. Free Taj Gibson!

Korver hasn't really played that well either. 30% from the field. Sucks that it took 5 games to realize that. A lot was made about Asik and Taj being on the floor at the end, but Brewer was out there too. Brewer made a huge steal, was extremely active on the offensive boards, and helps with the matchup problems the Bulls have when Korver is on the floor. Korver has to guard either Teague, Crawford or Johnson and all are terrible matchups for him.

I just feel like the Bulls need to take last night as the blueprint and try to stop the Hawks from scoring rather than focusing on getting Rose help on the offensive end. And Brewer is a big key for that.

Korver shot great in games 1 and 3. But yeah, it's just a bad matchup situation for him.

Agreed on the defense though. The Bulls obviouly play the best when the defense is tight.

I need this series over asap so I can go back to loving everything about Josh Smith.

Even his ugly, fat face?

Yep. He is blessed with the athleticism of Garnett, the strength of Malone, the interview presence of Bart Scott, the work ethic of Tractor Traylor and the focus of a 5 year old with ADD.

That thought crossed my mind a few days ago. And here I thought Kirk being out may lead to a Bulls sweep.

I wish Josh Smith would have decked Boozer last night. One, so he would have been suspended for at least Game 6. But also because maybe Booz would have had to miss a few games.

Apparently Oprah has the United Center booked for Mon and Tues. So if we can't get game 1 of the ECF in on Sunday, it'll have to wait until Wednesday.

Even Reinsdorf doesn't have confidence in this team.
