If anything, Aramis should get some praise out of this. Every report I've seen is that Silva was ranting and raving at someone else and Ramirez stood up to the idiot for his teammate. That is the sign of a leader.

He hit a Carlos, not a Tyler, I think Aramis is safe for now.

Can you imagine the Carlos cage match they could have?

With the Cubs projected 25-man roster, if a Carlos is NOT the puncher, there's a 16.667% chance that a Carlos is being hit.

That's the kind of hard hitting statistical analysis that keeps me coming back to NSBB!

What are the odds of such a scuffle not involving a Carlos on either side of the punch?

that depends if you factor in their latin temper...

*since i'm getting ready to leave, I'm going to clarify that I'm making fun on the racist, since I don't post much

59%

70%

Show your work.

25 players. So Player 1 can fight with 24 other players, Player 2 with 23 players, as his fight with player 1 is accounted for. So 24+23+22, etc... yields 300 possible fights.

Carlos count = 4. So they are players 1, 2, 3, 4. 24+23+22+21 = 90 Possible Carlos fights.

Unless I am missing some fundamental error?

No one likes Jon Heyman.

BTW, I don't necessarily agree that the Cubs' handling of this bodes poorly for them, but really I would like any excuse to drop Silva from the roster. I think we may have squeezed whatever good baseball may have remained out of his rotund body.
