Man, Maddux looks like he's really enjoying being able to eat whatever he wants now.

 

Yeah, he's definitely put some on. But I'm sure that probably happens for a lot of guys (most?) when they get away from the game.

I think he's seeing Sammy Sosa doctor or A-Rod cousin... He looks in real good shape, but what caught my eyes is his forearms. It's look noticeably BIGGER. Did he always have big forearms or no? I was thinking his whole body was more slender/lanky type. It reminds me of Sammy back in the day, while Sammy always had big forearms... in '98, his forearms went from big to HUGE!!!

 

Maybe we can expect a 30 HRs season from Soriano??? LOL Heck I hope he hits like in 2008, but over 145 games instead of 109. If he's healthy again, I can't see why he can push for 20 SBs this year.

 

Then again... it could just be the camera angle there as well.

Given his recent history of leg injuries, I think they have abandoned Sori's running game. And rightfully so.

 

Yeah, I'd have no problem if they dropped the idea of him stealing.

Yeah, I'm not bothered by it. We don't need him to steal bases anyway. We need him to hit the ball again and not get hurt while hopping to catch a fly ball.

He has definitely bulked up. And yes, I'm in agreement with everyone else as regards him not running anymore. The cost/benefit ratio on that one is pretty obvious.

Maybe it's just me, but I'd like to see other pictures of Sori than one of him wearing a loose t-shirt to confirm if he has actually bulked up to any substantial degree.

lolz... but seriously, the few (crappy) game photos we have don't make him look much bigger to me.
