Btw, what's with all the Beards on the offense lately? They think they're in the Stanley Cup playoffs?

I know I've seen beards on Cutler, Knox, Gould, Forte, and Olsen for sure.

It's bad enough everyone has to act super tough, and cool, and not wear sleeves in sub zero temperatures. Now they can't even sport a beard? Yikes!

I can grow a better beard than Jay Cutler

I rule

btw I like the idea of playoff beards in other sports but it doesn't really work in football because of how short it is...now basketball...we already have to deal with Joakim's horrible beard in the NBA...but months of no shaving?

Today during Jerry Angelo's State of the Bears news conference he said that this Bears team doesn't have a lot of talent, but this is the best Bears team since he has been GM. He's always good for a press conference isn't he?

He actually said this team doesn't have a lot of talent? That's not something you normally hear from GMs.

In about a 2 minute period he said they lacked talent, but then went on to say they are the most talented team from top to bottom that the Bears have had under his watch. Basically he was just talking like most GM's do and saying nothing of importance.

Sounds like something for people to freak out about in lieu of an actual football game.

Jerry Angelo should be a politician.

he always struck me more as a mobster type

theres a difference?

Yes. Politicians can do what mobsters do and actually get away with it.

Alright Bear fans, you want the Hawks or the Eagles? Pick your bird.

The Hawks would look to be the easy team. But tell that to the Saints. And they've already beaten us once. In Chicago.

The Eagles might seem to be the tougher draw, but they've looked very average when Vick hasn't been stellar. And the Bears have already shown they can beat them.

I guess I'm a Packer fan for tomorrow. I've got to believe the Bears wouldn't allow the Hawks to beat them twice at Soldier Field -- not when they're a 7-9 club.

I wanted the Packers to win regardless of today's game because I think they have the best chance of beating Atlanta in Atlanta and giving the Bears a home gave for the NFC championship, if it came down to that. I didn't see the Saints being able to pull a win in Atlanta off twice in a month.

Also worth noting, the Eagles are much more likely to build momentum with a win. The Seahawks haven't won more than 2 in a row all year, and were 2-6 on the road this year and all 6 losses were by 2 TDs or more.

I want absolutely no part of that. As crazy as it sounds, give me Atlanta in Atlanta any day over GB in Chicago.
