although, you do figure Woodson's bound for safety sooner or later

*shiver*

He's basically playing a hybrid version of linebacker and safety as it is right now, anyway.

Asomugha and Tramon on the outside, Collins and Woodson as the safeties with Shields as the nickel. What a wet dream that'd be.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen report that Dave Wannstedt could be reuniting with former Cowboys colleague Norv Turner as defensive coordinator of the Chargers. He also could be headed to Carolina, to serve as defensive coordinator under former Chargers defensive coordinator Ron Rivera.

The Bills and Browns also are interested in Wannstedt.

Yeah, Woodson's been playing ROVER for a couple years now, just hasn't been called that.

Why can't the Raiders do things like this with shitty players rather than the best player on the team?

I mean, couldn't they have a clause in DHB's contract stating that if he can't average a catch a game in his first year or two per game in his second year, his contract is void?

nobody talking about rivera getting hired in carolina?

It was mentioned. Andy was pretty unimpressed. I think it's a good hire, but Rivera's gonna have a rough go of it there I think. Not because of his coaching skills, but because I don't think Carolina has a lot to work with.

Looks like more Raiders got their contracts voided...

Broncos hire John Fox as HC.

Polar opposite of the McDaniels hire, not sure if this will be more successful, though.

Should be interesting to see if he goes with Tebow or Orton.

I'd be surprised if Bowlen is open to leaving his first round pick on the bench for another season.

Its probably in the Broncos best interest to see what they can get for Orton. Tebow might not be their QB of the future, but neither is Orton, and more could probably be had for Orton.

Fox coached my team for nine seasons, and I'd say Option C is probably the most likely for him.

Fox, while coach of the Panthers, had some good things to say about Tebow after his pro day. Whether he still believes any of that, I don't know. A lot may depend on who the OC is and how he feels about Tebow or Orton.

Cowboys have an interview set up with Rob Ryan to replace Paul P. as DC.

They supposedly have had interest in Nolan, but he may not be available since Miami retained Sporano. Another candidate that has been mentioned is Steelers coach Ray Horton, but they cannot interview him until Pittsburgh is eliminated from the playoffs.

It would be strange to have a Ryan on the Cowboys coaching staff.
