I think this might be the beginning of the Legends-Leaders curse. Change those names pronto!

I think more surprising even than how bad the names were was how Big Ten officials had no clue the public wouldn't like them.

Also, unless Ohio State absolutely blasts Arkansas, I can safely say that nobody saw Illinois being the most impressive Big Ten bowl team.

Good for TCU. Bad day for the B1G.

It looks cool in the logo, but B1G just looks horrendous when typed out

It never looks cool.

I didn't.

But I guess once you accepted it was going to be a disaster, it comes down to which of the dogs would jump up and have a decent day.

BTW - congrats to TCU. Can we have a playoff system please?

Big 12 is 2-4, Big 10 is now 2-6. Of course, the SEC was 0-3 until today...

The Big 10 is 2-5 right now. Not that I expect tOSU to win but still...

Of course, the Big Ten wasn't favored in any of their 8 matchups to this point, so they're actually doing better than anticipated. Northwestern and Wisconsin beat the spread, as well.

Don't forget about Nebraska. They lost to a team whose quarterback completed five passes.

Nebraska didn't play in that bowl game.

I'm so torn on what I've watched today. On the one hand, I don't really enjoy cheering for Alabama or Florida. On the other, I thoroughly enjoy the thought of a certain B1G honk on the south side of Chicago stomping around his house and berating his television set.

It was pretty hard not to see this coming. Alabama and Florida have BCS caliber talent, and Michigan's defense sucks. Hopefully Bucky and OSU can get it done. On a side note, I hope Illinois never plays in the Ticketcity Bowl.

Yes, everyone saw the Bama/Sparty beatdown coming, but I don't think nearly as many people saw the Florida win coming. Florida has not been very good this year. Actually, they have been atrocious late, and with no offensive identity and the loss of their best defensive player, this game was a toss-up. I actually wanted to see Penn State and Sparty both win, but there is solace in the biggest of all B1G schills having to stew all offseason thinking about "SEC speed."

and tennessee gets to stew all offseason thinking about choking away a game to north [expletive] carolina and just generally being terrible.

I'm a Cubs fan. Do you really think I'm bothered by that collapse today?

46 yarder, right? That's gotta be higher percentage than having your holder throw a 20 yard route to a backup TE.
