I love Wisconsin's never ending supply of nondescript white quarterbacks.

I'm pretty sure Sorgi, Stocco, Tolzien, and Bollinger are literally the same person. I'm sure I'm missing a couple guys too.

Grab a QB from any old place. Teach him to understand he's in no way the most important part of the offense.

Then find the biggest farm boys you can, feed them a steady diet of Wisconsin beef & cheese, and run the damn ball.

That's the Badgers.

My mom grew up in Wisconsin and she's decided to watch this game with me. So far she's asked me if there is band etiquette for when the bands are allowed to play, and told me that TCU's cheerleader uniforms are too skimpy for a Christian university.

Wisconsin's defense better wake up.

[expletive] the defense in this game :-)

Wisconsin has scored on pretty much everyone and their defense isn't great. This is pretty much what I expected.

Other than Watt grabbing a couple timely turnovers, I'm not seeing how. They've faced this general type of spread offense before, but none of those teams are nearly this good at it.

They need to run the ball a whole bunch more, keep Dalton & crew off the field as much as possible.

I am firmly aboard the "anybody but McLovin" bandwagon for 2011 PSU qb

They never should have converted Brett Bracket to WR. He's a good receiver, but I'm betting he would have been a better QB option than McFavre, Boldin or Newsome

For some reason I was thinking their D was better. Might have just been based on reputation.

Wasn't Bolden a pretty big time recruit? Surely PSU isn't giving up on him already.

They gave him 6 games before pulling him for a walk-on, so....

Who knows? We're becoming ND. We think we're special and have no patience.

you keep saying this. it doesn't make any sense.

How many coaches have you had in the past 10 years? You on your 4th head coach now?

It doesn't show impatience to see that Weis and Ty weren't going to get it done at Notre Dame and changes needed to be made.

It does, however, show a functioning brain and sensory organs.

So they just weren't using those functioning brains and sensory organs when they made those hires? What about the other 2 (3 if you count the O'Leary fiasco)?

I think the dumb thing ND did for Ty and Weiss was reward a good season with a huge long term commitment and then give up on them 3 years later. I thought they should have held on to Ty at least 1-2 years longer. Weiss was just about done so I don't think it was bad to can him.

As far as Michigan, I have no idea what they did wrong, but I feel like we are heading to ND territory. But all it takes is the right hire to get us back on track. Ohio State was probably heading to ND territory until sweater vest started winning games.

And for the vast majority of JoePa's coaching career a guy like him would've been shirted. It's a different world now.

Bolden wasn't even one of those guys who came in a semester early was he? No way you give up on a guy like that with the options PSU is looking at.

They should've held onto Ty 1-2 years longer? I mean if your goal is to lay complete waste to the program that would've been a good move. The guy couldn't coach and couldn't recruit.

Look at what he did to Washington...they went 0-12!

I don't know why they gave up on Newsome, who got most of the backup snaps in 2009
