Apparently TCU tried scheduling Ohio State where tOSU would've had two home games and they declined. Boise State also was willing to play them and they declined that too.

thats the deal that MSU made with Boise...that must be below the OSU standard

The Michigan State/Boise State deal is a pretty safe one for Michigan State. The landscape is going to look different in 10 years by the time the 2nd game rolls around and there's a decent chance Boise State won't be able to keep this going for another decade. So Michigan State gets a single upcoming home game against a likely top team while not having to worry about them again for another decade. But that's not something Ohio State needs. They can get a top opponent in a home and home anytime they want without the risk of looking bad by losing to a non-AQ team, particularly on the road. No real reason for them to do it.

I agree it is a good deal for MSU. Of course they probably do not have as much to lose as OSU. Truth is it is probably more of a gamble for Boise at this point to play @ MSU without a return game for another 10 yrs. Though I think MSU will be pretty solid again next year and possibly be a preseason top 25 in 2012, I don't think they will be regarded as being as being a high level opponent. They will however probably be good enough to possibly beat Boise. I think that would do more damage to Boise then any upside of beating MSU would.

Greg Schiano made a great career move staying at Rutgers.

UConn(who last I seen was getting killed by Michigan) still has a good chance to make a BCS bowl!?!?

Big East is bad...who was the poster who was a constant Big East apologist a couple of years ago?

Great defense from Auburn so far.

Letting Julio Jones run free like that probably isn't in their best interests.

How is that celebration worse than any other sack celebration in the history of football?

I feel dirty saying this, but I hope Alabama destroys Auburn today.

I don't care what has to happen, but I want Boise/TCU in the BCS title game just to see everyone freak out.

I wish I didn't have to work so I could cheer on 'Bama and Arizona.

Fairley is an ass. I'm glad he got that flag.

Is he the one that had a few blatant late hits a couple weeks ago?

Wow. Excessive celebration penalties are a joke. Though it hurts Auburn so that's good.

Yep. He also took his facemask and dragged it across the Georgia QB's face after he tackled him.
