which begs the question, why does anybody listen to colin cowherd?

I was driving through western Nebraska/eastern Colorado and it was that or the Limbaugh station on the radio

Cleveland is pretty bad. No wonder their fans are pissed.

Makes me chuckle remembering reading a Cavs forum just before the season and seeing some of their fans predicting a 50-32 season with the argument being "We won 66 with LeBron and some people are predicting 30 wins. That's saying that LeBron alone is with 36 wins and that's just not possible for one player to be worth that much."

Reminds me of when the Bulls traded away their dynasty and before the season, my naive 16 year old self figured that the Bulls would still probably make the playoffs the next season.

We didn't really trade away the dynasty. It ran its course.

Better management relations probably could've squeezed one more year out of that at most.

Edit: Although that team would've been very dangerous if they only had to play a 50 game schedule because of the lockout.

It's because all the season tickets were sold before The Decision. Plus the fans still had some hope that the Cavs would be good despite no LeBron, because of their past excitement. Looks like that enthusiasm is dying though as most of the rest this season have tickets starting at $2 on StubHub

Joakim Noah didn't watch LeBron James' return to Cleveland with the Heat on Thursday, but he found it amusing Cleveland fans tried to deride James with chants of "Scottie Pippen!" during Miami's blowout victory.

The chant apparently was meant to liken James' decision to join Dwyane Wade to Pippen's role as Michael Jordan's accomplice as the Bulls cruised to six NBA titles during the 1990s.

"When you're chanting a Hall of Fame name, they could've come up with something better than that," Noah said. "It's bad to be compared to a Hall of Famer with six rings? I thought they'd be a little more creative than that."

"Did LeBron play very well?" Noah asked. "So that wasn't a very good chant I guess. It didn't really faze him that much."

I enjoyed that they played the Imperial March while introducing the Heat.

The whole thing would've been much more entertaining if Cleveland had a halfway decent team to at least put up some semblance of a fight on the court.

I think it was fitting, showing the world just how much Cleveland needed LeBron. They went from #1 seed in the east, to pure garbage because of one player.

It reminded me of Jordan's first game in Chicago as a Wizard. All that hype for the game, and the Bulls looked beyond awful. I think they scored under 70 points for the game.

The Wolves just choked away their second game against the Spurs in 10 days.

Nothing like a home game against the Kings to reverse a team's fortunes, at least for one game.

Wasn't that on the same day as the Bears/Philly playoff game? I remember the play where Jordan blocked/trapped a shot against the backboard. The Bulls played terribly.
