It'll be interesting to see what the Titans' gameplan will be against Jacksonville. This is a game we really need to win if we plan on making the playoffs and it'd be nice if this is the game we can get the running game going.

However, we've had good success in recent years throwing on the Jags, so that may be the right way to go to, hopefully, continue to loosen defenses up a bit.

Some really good early games that I won't get to see because the stupid Steelers/Browns game will be the only one on here.

Of course, I'd really love the Bears game to be televised, but I'd settle for NE/Balt, Philly/ATL, Miami/GB, and Houston/KC.

Not good news for the Packers.

Jermichael Finley's timetable to return from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee is actually more like 6-10 weeks, not the 3-6 week as originally reported, according to the National Football Post's Brad Biggs.

Nothing's going right for us. One of our beat writers just tweeted that Finley's injury would last longer than 3 weeks, but it wouldn't be season-ending.

Rodgers should be good to go for Sunday, thankfully. Matthews will probably be a game-time decision.

Based on? There's been next to no news about Rodgers that I've seen, other than some teammates saying he "looked OK" after the game. So did Cutler. I'd put money on Rodgers missing a week.

Matthews will probably be a game-time decision.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Packers are pessimistic about Clay Matthews' (hamstring) status for Week 6. Coach Mike McCarthy thus far has only said that Matthews has not yet been ruled out, while the Green Bay Press-Gazette's Rob Demovsky is on record as predicting Matthews will miss 1-2 weeks.

Are you a teetotaller or something?

Why would you make that conclusion? 1. I would rather watch any game from the comfort of my own home. 2. Sundays are the only day I get to spend all day with my son. Not spending half of it at a bar.

Well I was just kidding about the ability to go to the bar but I completely understand your desire both to watch at home and (mostly) to have the opportunity to spend all day with your son.

Bedard, right?

ANOTHER UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Bedard. He said the Packers doctors originally thought they would have to remove Finley's meniscus, which would have actually meant a quicker return to the field for the tight end. But during surgery, they discovered they could repair the meniscus, which in turn means a longer recovery but a better long term prognosis for Finley in the long run. Finley's recovery is expected to now be 8-10 weeks and the Packers are deciding whether or not to wait for his return.

Sounds like IR is a real possibility.

OK Packer fans. Who do you guys like better in the long run? Lee or Quarless? I have heard a lot of good things about Quarless. Lee was the #2 guy, but it looks like he's gone for a few weeks.

If you haven't figured it out, I had Jermichael Finley on my Fantasy team (along with Aaron Rodgers). The news was enough for me to drop him.

I know the doctors I went to weren't the quality of what Finley has, but when I had my meniscus repaired 6 years ago I wasn't allowed to put any weight on that leg for 6 weeks.
