I'd make fun of the Big East, but I have a bad feeling I'll be praying for a Big East invite in the next 3-5 years.

 

The toupe is already angling for it.

The Big Ten has ended their expansion study, which just means they won't be focusing on it for the time being.

Honestly there's really no reason left for the Big Ten to expand unless/until one of those NYC-area teams actually starts commanding eyeballs out there.

or notre dame wants in, or the big xii collapses and texas is interested in joining. there are scenarios where they could try to expand but they have to make a splash, not just throw in extra teams for the hell of it.

The BTN will carry the announcement of the Big Ten division names, new logo, and some other stuff at 11 AM CT today.

Don't you get it? The logo can say B10 or BIG or BIGTEN or B10TEN

That would just set them up to have to spend a lot more money in the future if there's more realignment/expansion.

 

I believe Delany said a while ago that they wouldn't try and fit in "12."
