The Big Ten has ended their expansion study, which just means they won't be focusing on it for the time being.

Honestly there's really no reason left for the Big Ten to expand unless/until one of those NYC-area teams actually starts commanding eyeballs out there.

or notre dame wants in, or the big xii collapses and texas is interested in joining. there are scenarios where they could try to expand but they have to make a splash, not just throw in extra teams for the hell of it.

I think they did a pretty decent job on the new logos, especially the B1G (both "BIG" and "B10") logo.

Yeah, but I thought they do something clever where it would show a 12 in there somehow.

That would just set them up to have to spend a lot more money in the future if there's more realignment/expansion.

 

I believe Delany said a while ago that they wouldn't try and fit in "12."
