The Reds are awful, and keep running their mouths about "hating" other teams, fans, etc. The whole city of Cincinnati has an inferiority complex and the behavior of the Reds and Bengals players is just a microcosm of this. Yadi apparently was upset that Phillips would say those things about the team and then try to act friendly toward Yadi during the game. Yadi's point was "don't say you hate me and then try to be my friend." That said, I don't think Yadi intended for that fight to happen. In Yadi's words, he didn't know what exactly happened.
