I'm not saying he wasn't provoking Molina because he was.....but that is exactly Pujols' routine and apparently he was sick of it

He wasn't the one pushed into the netting, Carpenter was. Cueto was in the netting, but wasn't being mobbed like Carpenter was. And he spiked LaRue in the face, who didn't even do anything.

La Rue got kicked in the face and Carp got kicked in the back apparently by Cueto's cleats. I haven't yet heard an update on LaRue's condition, though.

 

Phillips is entitled to his opinion. However, it wasn't wise to air to the media. Tony loves that sort of ammo. On top of that, Phillips hasn't done much this series.

 

Rolen apparently was grabbing Carp to get him out of the fight. Seems like Rolen was a professional the whole time. Edmonds and a few other guys on both teams were working on breaking it up. Sounds like everything was fine between Carp and Rolen. There doesn't seem to be any bad blood there, other than being on rival teams.

 

Kind of funny during the fight Suppan was on the bottom of the pile and you see him crawling out through a bunch of pairs of legs. It just looked funny.

 

Yadi apparently was upset that Phillips would say those things about the team and then try to act friendly toward Yadi during the game. Yadi's point was "don't say you hate me and then try to be my friend." That said, I don't think Yadi intended for that fight to happen. In Yadi's words, he didn't know what exactly happened.

 

Cueto should be suspended. I don't care how panicked you are. You don't kick a guy in the face with your metal cleats, especially a backup catcher that wasn't even part of the argument.
