OKC just traded pick no. 32 to Miami for pick No. 18 and Daquean Cook

32+Cook for 18?

32 for 18+Cook. Miami's trying to shave cash for FA.

You know your cap rules are [expletive] when teams do things like this and what the Suns did for like 4 years in a row.

*reaps the benefits*

The Hornets wouldn't be crazy to move Paul if the return blew them away. Collison did pretty well last year in his absence.

Yeah, when arguably your first and second best players are point guards and you're a lottery team, it's definitely something worth exploring.

Draft Express says that Minnesota is offering Al Jefferson, #16 and #23 to Detroit for Tayshaun, #7 and Chris Wilcox.

Seems like a no brainer to me but it sounds like everyone is scared about his knee. Plus that means like $45M tied up with Rip, Jefferson, Ben and Villanueva. Still you have a pretty solid core and could grab an upside big like Orton/Whiteside and Bledsoe or a guy like Anderson/Ebanks/Pondexter to have off the bench.

Also, '93 draft on NBA TV, J.R. Rider said that he's a perfect man off the court and in society. He's only been arrested about 42 times since then. I liked these older drafts where the site rotated among different NBA cities. A lot more lively crowd than what you have now.

Do the Piston's care at all about defense?

Joe D does. I think he thought Kuester would be able to get some of those guys to commit to the defensive end but that didn't happen. Really he wants the team to get tougher and wants a big who can be a presence. Al's defense was supposedly improved before his knee injury and last year he was never fully recovered. He won't be a stud but if he's average defensively, you take it. You're right though that's a really, really bad defensive core.

Im not trying to hate on Big Al because I love the guy. But being living on the Wisconsin/Minnesota border I hear alot about Minnesota sports obviously and they said his defense got so much worse last year. And your right it could of been from his knee but even before his injury he was terrible to start with.

Unless there is a trade which could happen im thinking the top 5 looks like this..

1. Wizards - J. Wall

2. 76ers - E. Turner

3. Nets - D. Favors

4. T-Wolves - W. Johnson

5. Kings - D. Cousins

The real tricky part here is I think the T-Wolves might do something. They are trying to trade Jefferson, but knowing the T-Wolves they will probably screw this up. I would LOVE it if George fell to the Bucks but I dont think that happens. I would be happy with Henry. ANYONE but Hayward or Aldrich please.

That is probably true as well. Im just pointing out that the Wolves are gonna screw up somehow.

I hear they're in the market for a point guard.

I haven't seen a lot of Favors but I think I like Cousins better provided he doesn't land in a crappy situation like Golden State. I also don't get the Wes Johnson hype.

Out of these 4, rank them in the order you think will have the better NBA career..

1. Favors

2. Cousins

3. Johnson

4. Aminu

Gahhhhhhh

That's tough. Aminu is 4. Ummm, I think Johnson is a safe bet to hit his ceiling, and one of favors or cousins busts.

So it's like

Cousins/Favors deathmatch winner

Johnson

Cousins/Favors deathmatch loser

Aminu

Snood or somebody who knows better than I,

How good of a pick is Xavier Henry? I've been impressed with him in college, but not sure how he'd translate to the pros. Could he potentially replace Rudy Gay?
