The PG class outside of Wall stinks. The rest of the best are combo guards like Bradley and Bledsoe.

 

Grievies Vasquez is probably the best on the board.

Yeah It's odd McCamey might have actually been one of the better points in this draft had the Illini done better this year to get him more recognition.

How good of a pick is Xavier Henry? I've been impressed with him in college, but not sure how he'd translate to the pros. Could he potentially replace Rudy Gay?

 

He's more of a shooting guard than a small forward. I don't see him putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim much but there's always room for good spot up shooters in the NBA who have size and can guard. Henry will do that.

 

I think he can be a 40%+ 3 point shooter in the NBA.

 

Good shooter. Can board for a guard. Average athleticism. Hard-working defender. Hesitant to attack the rim. But that's not out of fear (imo). More because it's not a real strength,

I agree with everything except the athlete part, I thought he was below average as an athlete.

 

He's not a below average athlete. He can run and jump. He's also physically strong. He's just not explosive. I believe draft xpress has him listed as an above average athlete, which is a stretch. But he's definitely not below average.

I get ultra smug over this because I liked Muse in the small window when they actually were good and then got out immediately when they showed signs of jumping the shark (their new album is complete [expletive]) and now they're huge and overexposed and I get to be a pretentious ass about it
