Kazmir is sitting at 93 pitches. Anyone know offhand if the Angels pen is any good?

Loaded with one out....good teams put up a crooked number there. Cubs hitters step into the box thinking that the pitcher has them right where he wants them.

The mental approach to hitting is a big weakness of this team. The Cubs seem to be very impatient when they have a pitcher in trouble. Which seems weird since Lou was supposedly a good hitting coach and they hire the guru, Jaramillo.

Let's see. Silva has thrown 70 pitches, and the 7, 8 & 9 hitters are due up. Why would you pull him for a guy who was just released because his ERA had eclipsed double digits? Is Lou intentionally sabotaging this team? He better be hurt. Edited June 18, 2010 by lumafia

I'm not justifying Lou's actions...just saying what they're talking about on the radio. If Silva was injured prior to the at-bat, and Lou let him hit anyway, he's dumber than I thought.

I know how you feel, but Lou's not going anywhere, and even if he did, it wouldn't make much of a difference.
