I love how ESPN has decided that American viewers are idiots and that they need to keep telling us that this game is not an elimination game. They just had a graphic under the score and during the pregame mentioned it several times.

I'd say it's a very safe assumption that many US viewers of this game are not World Cup saavy.

Basically the opposing team can't have a guy that is further downfield than the rest of your team...if I understand correctly.
