Just finished watching MEX/FRA on Univision. First, Domenech is the blurst coach in the history of ever. Just horrid. No one does less with more talent. Leaving Nasri and Benzema at home and not playing Henry as a sub while scoring zero times?

Next, despite the fact he looks like a girl, Gio Dos Santos is just killing it. The FMF really handled him correctly. Despite him being a drunken idiot at the club level and hardly getting any burn for a Colaship side (after flaming out at Barca and Spurs), they decided that he was so important to El Tri that they'd make him a key part of the squad despite his playing time. Smart move. Also, respect to Mexico's fans. They travel very well. I heard ole's mixed in with the bees and kazoos.

Finally, if ESPN3 doesn't work for me tomorrow at the office, I'm going to be pissed.

Just need to get into it early.

At least Univision.com is always there as a backup. Video quality isn't good and I can't understand Spanish, but I do love the commentators.

Thanks for the Univision tip. I hadn't thought of it.

I've had no issues with it for the non US games, but I'm a little concerned about the traffic tomorrow am. I'll probably be on no later than 8:30, so I hope thats soon enough.

Hopefully ESPN has their server ish in order.

I mean't the quality isn't AS good. It's not HD quality like ESPN3, but it's still pretty good on univision.com

I've had plenty of issues logging in at times on espn3, particularly for the afternoon games. I'm going to try to get to my office a little early to make sure I'm in, as well.

Really nervous about tomorrow's game. England-US was getting all the headlines, but this one was always the biggest game for the US.

Win, and they could win the group. Draw, and they are still likely to advance. Lose, and they're done.

An early goal for the US would do wonders. It would force a offensively-challenged side to open themselves up and we can pick them apart.

1-0 from US after about 15 minutes could turn into 3-0 in the end.

Blanco 5th oldest scorer in World Cup history, lol.

My Mexico and Argentina love is looking good so far.

Not that it's realistic, but if the Galaxy have to replace Landon, Gio would put butts in seats.

The French press is fun to read this morning. 8-)

France-Soir is pulling the old "disgrace to their uni's" card.

Wow, Ze Germans are getting hosed. The ref in this game has been atrocious. Hopefully not a sign of things to come in this tournament.

And wow, I can hear the crowd singing.

Lalas was calling for Clark to start over Torres. 100% agreed on the early lead which is why I want Torres, find ways to get possession in and around the box early and good things will happen. Set pieces or maybe even a PK. I understand the thought of Clark starting though.

And Buddle over Findley too.
