Best Team for 10 Years

I'm very busy today, so I decided to come up with the players I would pick if I was building a team that had to win the world series for 10 straight years. So the game is, you have to keep these same players all 10 years and they have to be good enough to win it all this year and young enough to still be able to win it all in 10 years. Here's my team:

SP:

Lincecum

Kershaw

Price

Strasburg

Felix Hernandez (tough not to pick Jiminez...but I didn't)

C: Wieters

1B: Pujols (he'd be 40 by the end of it, or 70 depending on who you ask, but I like his chances of still being very good)

2B: Tulowitzki

SS: Castro (maybe a homer pick but whatever)

3B: Longoria

LF: Jay Bruce

CF: Kemp

RF: Justin Upton

I didn't pick bullpen pitchers or a bench because I didn't want to.

There are a couple people that seem genuinely upset about this. It was something I spent like 15 minutes entertaining myself with.

However

I realized my mistake of not including Heyward. I would definitely want Heyward.

I acknowledged that Castro was a homer pick and that I don't care. I'm sure there are better MI combinations but I really like those two guys. I know the title is "best team" but I'm a rebel that doesn't even play by my own rules.

With Wieters, I didn't pick Mauer because 37 is really old for a catcher. There might be better, younger choices than Wieters, but I couldn't think of any off the top of my head. So Wieters it was. And Wieters was actually a last minute substitution for Mauer.

I know who Stanton is, and he'll probably be insanely awesome, but I'm a fanboy for Justin Upton.

I tried to pick a decent amount of guys that will still be in their prime in 10 years. The way I saw it, having a team full of near 40 or 40+ year olds by the end of the 10 years is riskier than having a couple question marks.

And as far as pitchers go, I wouldn't change any of them with any of the suggestions so far.

The only player here who I don't think has a viable argument for is Fielder. Do you honestly think he'll even be in the league in 10 years? Maybe he can keep his body from collapsing by being a DH or something.

I'll take a shot:

C: Joe Mauer

1B: Prince Fielder

2B: Ian Kinsler

SS: Hanley Ramirez

3B: Evan Longoria

LF: Jason Heyward

CF: Andrew McCutchen

RF: Justin Upton

SP1: Lincecum

SP2: Greinke

SP3: Jiminez

SP4: King Felix

SP5: Kershaw

McCutchen is a better option than Kemp. My original outfield was really stupid.

Since money clearly isn't an object, I would invest some money in a time machine and go back to get Ty Cobb in his prime. While he might not be as athletically superior to players today as he was players of his time, I think I could help him channel his rage towards equal rights and he'd still be pretty great. I don't care about the rest of the team.

That kind of research would take years, years that we don't have for the purposes of this game. What a stupid, stupid idea.
