Surely even our sickly offense can rack up a few runs off of Perez. As long as Carlos Silva doesnt chose tomorrow to remember that hes Carlos Silva, we might be able to win this one. Sure hope so, because we have no shot as beating (or scoring on) Johan, and a 4 game sweep at the hands of the Mets following a home series loss to the Astros would be pretty damn embarassing. I agree, but with the way things are going right now the Cubs can't really afford to sit the few productive players they have to give time to an unproven prospect. It would be one thing if one of the OFers who are likely to start tonight were slumping, but they're not, and offense is in short order on this team right now.
