So this is the first time I've been able to really sit down and watch the Cubs. How have all the regulars looked? I saw someone mention that Byrd has looked good. How about Geo? Lee? Soriano? Anyone else?

Geo's hit into loud outs, Soriano looks hot and cold, and Lee hasn't had a hit yet.

Man, Demps in the zone. Its not often you see a pitcher make a hitter look as silly as he did Martin Prado last inning.

Unless he's wearing a Cubs uniform amirite?!

PH for him if we have a scoring chance in the 7th, but I'd let him go against the bottom of the Atlanta order.

Theriot - Don't think he has a hit yet, if he does he only has 1. Hasn't looked that great at the plate and his lack of range has been exposed on the field multiple times. Did hit a fairly well hit ball a bit earlier, but it was right to the 2B, who was playing at double play depth and converted the DP

Fukudome - Looked pretty good on Monday, looked alright today. Hit the ball hard to RF in his second AB tonight, but was caught by Heyward. No complaints about him so far.

Lee - Hasn't looked great, but I'm not worried about him all that much.

Ramirez - Obviously hit that HR Monday, hit a couple other hard hit balls, doing pretty good overall.

Byrd - Has had a lot of good abs so far, been robbed a couple of times. Doesn't look all that fast in the OF.

Soriano - Haven't seen anything really impressive from him so far at the plate. Did have a good AB earlier today that lead to a double, but it was off an excuse me check swing.

Fontenot - mixed reviews. Did have a nice single tonight and worked a couple of counts, but I wouldn't say he looks better than last year yet.

Soto - Pretty much the same as Fonteot, except doesn't have a hit yet.

Hope that helps

harden has 80 pitches through 4 innings - 1 hit, 1 run, 1 hbp, 3 bb, 8 k. we saw a lot of that last year.

There's never been a pitcher who was so good at missing bats that had such a hard time missing bats. He puts up some wacky lines, that's for sure.
