i'm pretty sure i've never not been able to watch a cubs game on espn before. what the hell is going on?

 

Good question because the Cubs aren't on yet so you wouldn't be blacked out yet.

So apparently my dorm gets WCIU on channel 26.1 and my TV is incapable of getting to that channel. So even the few pitches I WOULD have been able to see I can't see. I'm going to break something.

How exactly does one get to .1 of a channel? I have never heard of that.

 

It's that new digital TV crap but my dorm runs off of Dish Network, technically, so I don't even know why they show us that we can get the .1 channels.

 

Any local bars or friend's apartments you could hang at?

Well I have to go interview a guy for an article I'm working on at 4. So going to a bar before hand is a bad idea. I'll probably drop by one afterwards, though.

Also ESPN3 is supposed to have all the games today that are on ESPN, IDK if there are blackout restrictions that apply there or if you have a cable/internet provider that is approved by ESPN3. But you could also try that.

i choose to believe that the tiger woods stuff bumped the early games and the cubs are going to be on my tv in a few minutes

Cubbie Bum was having a lot of problems with the cards/reds game which he should have been able to see with no problem earlier. There must be something odd going on today.

 

Yeah that got fixed after I called them. She said it was the same for her down in Columbia and she would send a report to corporate. About 20-30 minutes later there was a blip and then it switched over.

I can't get the Cubs on MLB gameday on the Ipod. Are the supposed to be on the radio?
