can't believe we gave samardzija $10M out of college. that's what you do with guys like pedro alvarez, matt wieters, mark prior, etc, not a guy who is probably a late first-round talent that you want to buy away from another sport. what a horrendous use of resources.

What happened to Shark's stuff? I remember watching his MLB debut and his fastball had so much movement. Now he can't locate it and when he does locate it the ball is dead straight.
