this game has also brought together the ghetto-version of cubs voltron, with erik, bum and aramis fan teaming up, which is pretty epic in it's own right

Remember when we came into Turner Field in I want to say August of 2008 and just destroyed them in a 3 game series to the point where the Braves announcers were making comments left and right about how good we were and how it looked like a long drought was going to end that October. *sigh*

To be fair, I'd have come to anyone's defense on that. That was just vile.

But for the record, I have no issues with you.

oh yeah, we've also never had a prospect like heyward, either.

Mark Prior was pretty big.

You can talk all you want about bad luck, but this organization makes its own freaking bed and then craps in it.

and he got hit on the elbow with a line drive, his pitching elbow, just when he looked like he was putting it together.

What are you talking about? Ty Griffin was Babe Ruth incarnate!

Weve had plenty of prospects. they just dont pan out as well as we would like. Or at all. I didnt pay as much atention to the farm back then, but I remember a lot of hype surrounding C-Patt.

At least we have Cinci this weekend. We should be able to get 1-2 there.

I feel like that was the series that Fonzie hit 3 homers, Renteria elbowed Fontenot in the face and Lilly got tossed for no good reason.

I'm aware, but he wasn't a prospect then. I just meant we had a stud of that caliber. Hell Wood was pretty big as well.

Eh at least he helped lead us to an NLCS before fading into oblivion

Dusty killed him and he was probably going to be done within months regardless.

well, if something both terrible and freakishly rare happens to heyward, i'll admit that fate doesn't have a penis, unlike voltron.
