I have them losing in the EE. I dislike them so much, though, that I'm not sure how rational I am when evaluating them.

No, they're not. But they really, really suck, and they beat Georgetown by hitting 13/23 from 3 (season average: 7 3s made a game).

Ohio shoots 9/23 from 3 and they still win.

Outside of Clemson - Missouri Gus is calling some pretty terrible games.

 

Gonzaga-Florida State could be close, but yeah, I wish they wouldn't stick him with a 1-16 matchup. That's just a throwaway game.

 

Well if you're going to put Gus on a 1-16, Vermont v. Syracuse without Onuaku in Buffalo is about as good as you can do.

I'm all about the upsets making a fun tournament.... but it's starting to seem like a bad seeding job more than anything.

Marquette and ND's seeds were both ridiculous (I was saying that before they lost). I don't think the other upsets really reflect on the seeds.

It may, however, accurately reflect how ridiculously overrated the big east was this year.

I'm sick of playing the sample size card, I really am.

 

And the selection committee overrated the Big East I suppose, but everyone else has been saying those two seedings were nuts since about 7:05 on Sunday.

I don't think Georgetown, Villanova, Syracuse, etc. are anything special, either.

Syracuse routinely makes a habit of never playing outside New York in non-conference and building up a gaudy record made of complete fluff. At least this year they actually went to Florida once.

The Indianapolis CBS stuck with Kansas for way too long so I watched most of that game. Extremely uninspired performance. I'd be slightly concerned if I were you as Northern Iowa is sort of a more talented version of Lehigh. I stand by this year's Kansas reminds me of 2005-06 UConn. I still picked Kansas to win the title though.

Yes, I despise their non-conference scheduling generally. It wasn't quite as bad this year though. And they pretty much thoroughly dominated the Big East. Which, despite yesterday's totally enjoyable 1-3 mark, is still a good conference.

I picked the Badgers as a sweet 16 team unfortunately, Kentucky will be waiting for them. I'd really like to see Kentucky and Calipari go down at the hands of the Badgers and Big Ten but, I don't think it's going to happen.
