If there's one thing that will make me not look at my bracket for the rest of the tournament, it's this.

I'm all for bracket apocalypse now.

And they take me away from the last minute of Marquette/Washington to see Kansas/Lehigh in its entirety.

where, columbia? they didnt in stl. maybe its for the old romar fans?

Topeka, although they did cut back in for the crucial points.

well, that makes more sense then.

I'm 1-3 in games involving Big East teams and 8-0 in all others.

Now that I'm resigned to the fact that we lost, at least Marquette had a good season. Picked to finish 12th, they ended up 5th in the East. I'll take that for now, but that still hurts. As for the rest of the tourney (now that my rooting interest is gone), bracket apocalypse. Let all hell break loose.

Yeah, I still won't ever forget the run my team had to end the year either, but I can't pretend it's not stained a bit by today.

As for the Big East, they SHOULD be done losing for the round, but that would depend on which Louisville team shows up tomorrow. It better be the good one because I'm already down 2 Sweet 16 teams.

How does Aldrich never get called for anything, it's beyond belief.

You picked Louisville to Sweet Sixteen?

Yeah, I'm banking on Good Louisville for this weekend. I don't feel great about it - but then I didn't feel great about Butler to the Sweet 16 either and that looks alright so far.

You are such a Big East homer/Duke hater.

I do not hate Duke at all. I just don't think they have a team designed to go far in this tournament.

As for the other thing, I'm sure no one on here is a homer for their conference at all.

"Good" Louisville? The only tourney team they beat aside from Syracuse was nobody.

They still have the talent to give Duke a challenge if things go right. However they could end up losing to Cal by double digits very unpredictable team IMO, which most are in agreement with. How the [expletive] wasn't that a foul on Kansas there under the hoop?

They aren't any good and shouldn't even be in the tournament. Their chances against Duke are no better than Lehigh's.

I've missed 1/2 the games that have gone final so far. But still have all of my Sweet 16 in tact.

Oh yeah, and Louisville is indeed, not a good team. Neither is Notre Dame. I believe they had the resumes to make it in a down year, but in a normal year they aren't even close.

Ohio isn't any good either and yet they blew out Georgetown. To dismiss Louisville's - or really anyone else's among the top 10 seeds - chances completely seems pretty shortsighted.

Yep. The Big East screwed me too. If ND and George town had won I'd be perfect. I only had Georgetown in the Sweet 16 so it could have been worse. If the last set goes well it will probably be my best first day ever.

Lehigh winning would end that as I have Kansas winning but it won't happen. Plus I'd trade my bracket for a 16 seed win over a 1 seed any day.
