I just very much dislike people like Bradley. They demand all your attention, and it never ends.

I hate when someone expects me to jump in order to attend to their latest drama episode. It's like being sucked into a Black Hole.

If the Mariners are that intent on making Milton feel at home, then go for it. It's probably going to take a full time person to continually "help him cope" though. I wonder who that will be. I imagine people like Wakamatsu have much more important things to worry about on a daily basis than Bradley's meltdowns.

That's a really weird stance. Nobody's making you pay any attention to Bradley.

You misunderstand. I'm projecting Bradley to other, real, situations I've experienced in my life.

Bradley is asking the Mariners for some help to get through his issues. If he would have asked last year when he didn't produce very well and the media ate him up, he probably still would be here.

I'd imagine Wakamatsu/Jack Z called the meeting. Our management was too busy calling him a piece of [expletive].

Well, I at least have to give him credit for finally realizing he has an issue and taking steps to correct it.

Read a few Mariner forums today. They're the exact opposite of Cubs fans when it comes to Bradley. I think they're wrong, but it was kinda fascinating to read.

This seems like an odd reaction to someone coming to his bosses and teammates asking for help. It looks like he's placing the blame squarely on himself.

MILTON finally is, which is great. I hope he gets the help he needs now. However, others are not. They would rather use Milton to take cheap shots at Cubs management in a very Rosenbloom-esque style.

There are plenty of good reasons to criticize Cubs management. This one is just kind of pathetic.

I put a lot of blame on Cubs management...if you are not prepared to take on a player with Bradleys baggage then dont take him on. Just because you had a pleasant dinner with the guy does not mean he is going to behave in the way you want.

Good for Milton for coming to terms with his issues, I pray that all goes well for him

that reaction isn't any less odd than the last one.

Don't be so naive. This is just another act by Milton. I don't believe for a second that he is serious about this. He's been through counseling before and nothing came of it. Nobody expected Milton Bradley to act the way he did with the Cubs not even by his standards. He really does have issues and I don't think a guy with his temperament should be playing sports. I don't give a crap what Seattle is saying right now. They are in the same boat the Cubs were last year. They realized they made a mistake by bringing this cancer to their team. Are you seriously going to put a lot of blame on Cubs management? Why? They tried to keep everything in-house until Bradley crossed the lines. There's a reason why the entire team was cheering when they were notified Bradley was gone.

As Bradley sat down, Sweeney hugged him. The five-time All-Star then gave Bradley's back a comforting pat. The slugger smiled.

In Seattleville they say that Milton Bradley's small heart grew THREE SIZES that day!

So, I know it's only a month into the season, but that Silva for Bradley trade is looking pretty darn good.

If they can just calm him down for 5 months or so, he might dazzle.

That's always the hope -- just get him to a place where he feels comfortable enough and starts to perform.

For the record, I hope he takes the help and turns everything around. I'm just skeptical of it happening, that's all. I'll be happy if he proves me wrong.

So you think it was a good idea for Lou to call him a piece of [expletive]??
