it's always nice to get a reminder every 4 years about how boring figure skating is.

Sadly it comes more than every four years. I see it on TV a couple times a year.

You guys are crazy. It's a very beautiful, artistic, and athletic sport.

So is professional wrestling since we are talking about rigged sports.

:-o Pro-wresling is rigged???? I am shocked

This dude at Newsweek obviously doesn't like sports: Fool's Gold

He does have some valid points though.

That man wrote that Tiger getting beaten with a golf club by his wife was "the essence of sportsmanship"

edit: Oh, that's Hitchens. What doesn't he hate?

Good to see Bode return to the podium after his disaster last Olympics.

Snowboard cross seems kinda meh.

It seemed more exciting in Turin.

The conditions are really slowing things down.

How did that Canadian lose the snowboard event? that was a gigantic lead!

Oh, and the video of the women's gold medal suicide right after that was great.

CURLING!

thank you for the reminder

and I have been seriously disappointed with the effort nbc has shown in letting you know when stuff will air and where you can find it.

they also haven't shown very much on their sister channels. Women's hockey is about it

Curling is so awesome. Its one of the few winter olympic sports i could actually see doing without killing myself or breaking half the bones in my body. In 2006 there was a lot of curling on msnbc and cnbc, this years coverage blows so far in regards to curling.

It just started today - this morning's matches are the first ones. There's about nine hours of curling between MSNBC, CNBC and USA every day.

Here's the schedule.

shuster sucks.

My initial impression as well.

Have a chance to get two points? He'll screw it up and get one.

Have another chance to get two points? Not only screw it up but allow Germany to get a point as well.

It's a complete blast to play. I was horribly out of shape when I started and I could still broom for 8 ends and not completely die, so the fitness level isn't *too* bad.

Sweet, I was just getting ready to ask about this. I love the redneck bar version.
