This week's local blackout of the other channel in Indy means I get Rams/Titans instead of Pats/Panthers. Meh.

The countdown is on for Chris Johnson:

As of right now, CJ needs 125 yards per game over the next four games to reach 2,000. He's currently at 1,509, so he needs 491 against the Rams, Dolphins, Chargers and Seahawks. To this point this year, he's averaged 125 yards per game.

As for the game, if Vince continues what he's been doing and CJ can hit at least 125, we should win comfortably. It'll help if Boller starts instead of Bulger.

A 170-200 yard game against St. Louis would be huge for him. Realistically, he's not going to get exactly 125 each game, is going to need one big game and there isn't a better remaining opponent than the Rams.

someone please explain to me how the raiders have beaten the eagles, bengals and steelers.

The Eagles I can't speak for but they beat the Bengals and Steelers in part because JaMarcus Russell sat on the bench the entire game. Obviously that doesn't explain everything (especially since the Pittsburgh game was on the road) but getting him out of there goes a long way.

The search is on throughout Saints Nation to find out who this loon is:

That's what Jeremy Shockey would look like as a newborn Benjamin Button.

Yeah, if he can break a couple of 70+ yard TD runs against St. Louis, I'll be feeling really good about his chances. And that's not asking that much for CJ.

I can't believe how mediocre Pittsburgh is.

Thanks for making the Bears only decent win this year look a lot less awesome Pittsburgh.

ugh. it's starting to look like the bengals are just the best of the crappy afc north, and have no real chance of going far in the playoffs. beating the steelers and ravens 4 times doesn't sound impressive anymore.

I think we'll all know a lot more about how good this Bengals team is after the next two weeks.
