This will be a tough, but important, game for the Titans.

The Texans have the ability to challenge our secondary again if they choose and we'll likely struggle against Andre Johnson. I don't think they have much success running the ball - which seems to be what they've committed to recently.

A win would be huge over an AFC South rival and would set us up to seriously consider the outside possibility of playoff contention (as we'd potentially only be one game out). We still have to win out, though, and that'll be tough.

Always been pulling for VY. And I also think CJ is the best all around back in the game. If the Titans can somehow get back into the playoff picture it would be one of the greatest stories of all time.

We'll have to either win out (finish 10-6) or catch some breaks (1 or more playoff caliber teams finish 9-7 or worse) to have a chance. It's tough, but a very similar Titans team started last year 10-0, so who knows.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports the BiIls have fired Dick Jauron. Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is expected to replace Jauron on an interim basis.

I'll be back at Cowboys Stadium to watch the Cowboys take on the Redskins. It's a game we should win, but the Redskins and Cowboys always play each other tough.

I'm also worried a little about the Cowboys injuries as this team doesn't have a lot of depth in those areas.

Last weeks injuries were worse than the actual loss. This game will say a lot about this team just in seeing how they rebound and beating a team that they should beat.

So it's your belief that Elmer Fudd was involved in this decision?

Perhaps now the NFL at large will realize that Mr. Jauron isn't head coach material.

I wonder if he'd be OK as a college coach.

Dick Jauron would not be a good recruiter.

Did you expect Dave Wannstedt to coach a top 10 team?

No. I was thinking the same thing as Cali on Jauron. It's hard for me to imagine Jauron mastering the art of recruiting. Maybe he could find some people who would help out, though.

It wouldn't surprise me at all if we lay an egg against the Niners.

Our defense does match up well against you guys. We should completely shut down the run game and we get good pressure so Rodgers should be hurried a lot.

I'm rooting for you.

It's probably going to be another ugly game at Lambeau, much like the game against Dallas.

We'll see. I think it will come down to who can run the ball better (both teams in top 5 in rushing D) and whether or not Smith is effective in passing. Our passing defense ranks as one of the worst but it is misleading. We have the third most attempts against us, have only allowed 9 TD's (6th best), and have faced some of the best passing teams (Arizona, Houston, Indy, Minnesota). The QB's we have faced are Warner, Hasselbeck, Favre, Bulger, Ryan, Schaub, Manning, VY and Cutler. All but VY and Bulger all are still considered among the leagues best.
