I want a piece of Boston, bad. If the Bulls can beat any of their possible 1st round opponents, Boston would be it.

That being said, I'm 100 percent in favor of the trades today and if they make us miss the playoffs, so be it. I don't think they will, though.

Why would you want a shot at Boston. It's not catharsis, if they just beat you all over again.

Apparently, the Bucks also have the rights to swap 1st round picks with the Bulls this season (top 10 protected). So if the Bulls don't make the playoffs and don't finish in the top 3 in the lottery, we are not going to get a draft pick to reflect that.

They are also saying that the Bobcats pick might not be until 2014.

The swapping of picks is meaningless. The Bucks will finish worse than the Bulls

How can you assume that when 1/4th of the Bulls rotation just left the team? Yes I think the Bulls are probably still better, but I certainly do not know that for sure.

Care to wager? The Bulls will continue to go as far as Rose, Noah, and perhaps Deng take them. We're better than the Bucks.

And it pains me to see Hinrich, in all likelihood, escape another deadline and remain a Bull. What the hell is it going to take to see this guy get moved?

Why would I wager with you when I just said I probably agree? But it's not guaranteed at all, changes to rotation can sometimes really throw off a team. Plus there are whispers that the Bulls are considering shutting down Noah for a longer period of time. If that happens, I could see the Bucks passing the Bulls in the standings. But right now, I'd put my money on the Bulls.

I think we'd have a better chance against vs. Atlanta to be honest, and by better chance I mean 0.5% vs. 0.2%

It's not trolling, short of a major injury, the Bulls don't stand a chance against the top 3.

I won't disagree with that, but below is trolling.

At least missing the playoffs will stop you from getting embarrassed by the Celtics. AGAIN

What the hell is it going to take to see this guy get moved?

A GM who wants a third guard with declining skills with $18 million left on his contract.

once again we fail to unload hinrich

meanwhile the knicks open enough space for 2 max free agents

The Bulls are still a better spot then NY, imo.

Hopefully a big-time FA agrees with you.

Here's what I said about the free agent situation at RealGM

So I don't know if any of you guys ever have bought a home or like me, watch HGTV. But for home buyers, there is the choice between the fixer upper and the move in ready homes. The move in ready homes offer instant satisfaction, but less room for improvement. The move in readys can charm you with potential, but often the changes that need to be made are overwhelming.

When looking at the players in Free Agency, the Bulls are the most "move in ready".

Yea we lack the potential to bring along a second max free agent, but with all the teams ready to blow a wad of money, the odds of ANY team landing two top players was pretty slim.

And that ignores the fact that we are the only 2010 with an All Star already on the roster. Yea, technically someone who is joining Miami has Wade, but the Heat also have to get Wade to stay as well. We have all of our first round picks. We actually picked up a future pick. We have a defensive rebounding center. We have a good third option. We have one of the best rising stars in the league. We have a former All defensive player on the perimeter to defend the other teams stars. Other teams that are players have some of these things, but we have the most of these things.

Sure you might need to freshen up the paint (some shooters) and get some furniture (rebounding big men), but those are relatively cheap fixes and can be done easily.

So 2010 Free Agents, bypass the fixer-uppers that are bound to cause you pain and heart-ache. Join the inefficient move in ready home and have a nice smooth transition into your new home.

the knicks can now afford 2 max free agents, the bulls can only afford 1

I don't think adding Wade alone makes us a champion. It would need to be Wade plus something, IMO.

I think so as well but, could that be another max FA? Wade and Bosh for example?

Wade isn't going anywhere. Neither is LeBron. The Bulls best bet is Bosh and Joe Johnson, and that has a slim chance of happening. I doubt any team is getting two max contract players. The problem for the Bulls is that there are too many teams that can give max contracts and not enough great players. Joe Johnson does not have the skills to be a max contract player, but all you need to really be one is a team that is willing to offer him that. NY is going to offer him that after they fail to get LeBron.

Why are some people suddenly so sure that neither Wade or LeBron are going anywhere?
