ISU has Arnaud and Robinson out and can't muster up much of anything offensively. You win that game by two scores if you just lose the turnover battle by 4 or 5.

I especially enjoyed how ridiculous some of the turnovers were. A red zone interception where two players from each team get a hand on the ball? Fumbling the ball away at the goal line after someone gets a hand on your back heel?

I really, really, really want to know why 0-7 Ball State is FAVORED on the road against Eastern Michigan, quite possibly with Kelly Page unavailable due to injury.

The problem is that they're giving up FGs. I don't see them putting many TDs on the board against Bama. They'd be in good shape if they just took away the dump off to Jones (the only pass McElroy is capable of completing) and stopped kicking it off to the 15-20 yard line.

Yeah, touchdowns would be nice, but if the game gets very high scoring, we won't win it.

 

They seem to be playing defensively to avoid the big play, which explains why Jones hasn't been open deep but they're giving hi the short passes. Also, as bad as the special teams has been this year, kicking it to Javier Arenas is not a good idea.
