Really just gonna have to get used to this. But the Bears are gonna have to start looking to get big "fight for it" receivers, cuz Cutler is always gonna throw into traffic.

That was great coverage by Atlanta on that pick. That probably doesn't happen if there is better play-calling on 2nd down. Fades are awful, especially when you're running them to a guy who is a generous 5'11"

There's nothing wrong with fades. You're just not going to get receivers streaking open very often close to the goal line.

Now throwing it to your shortest receiver is an issue. I'd rather see Olsen out on the perimeter there.

Fades are such a low-percentage play. You're counting on your receiver getting to the spot, a perfect ball by the QB, and then your WR out-muscling the DB. I'd rather run a post or a slant every time over a fade in the red zone.

The thing I was scared of...Cutler throwing taking points off the board. SON OF A BITCH. I was saying before every play "NO INTS"

That's the 4th Cutler INT in FG range this year. 12 points he's taken off the board by forcing it. Momentum shift to Atlanta, let's get a stop..

That's a misleading stat obviously 3 of those were in one game.

False, one was in the Steelers game.

Cutler didn't throw an int in the Steelers game.

EDIT: Ah...yeah forgot about Seattle...fair enough.

it was against seattle, but it was off knox's hands like that one kinda.

It was, but as I said at the time, it was ill advised. He was improvising trying everything in his power to not get sacked, as he does on most of his INTs, and he threw a high one to Knox.

it's a turner staple.

The only thing fades are good for are drawing pass interference penalties

My point about the interception is, it's not the end of the world to take a sack when your in FG range, especially on third down. I will admit Cutler has made some great plays while running from a sack, but he's also had most of his INTs occur because of his determination to not get sacked. If Cutler takes some sacks, we're playing for a FG on the last drive of the GB game instead of a TD, we don't sweat it out the final seconds against Seattle, and we give Atlanta a quick punch in the gut in this game.

I agree. Unfortunately I don't really think it's anything you can teach. Just seems to be a mentality that some QBs have.

Our D looks great. We need to score here.

I think the Bears got away with a block in the back there.

Glad they missed 2 blocks in the back on that return.

1. The second wasn't (though they likely call it).

Talking about the 2 right at the beginning? One was started out in front of the guy and the other I think it looked like he was more in the way than actually blocking him. He put his arms up like he was innocent anyway.
