If your defense can't stop them they can't stop them so even if you score in 2 minutes instead of 6 minutes you still aren't gaining ground. A defense that gets to rest though is more likely to stop the opposing team.

As far as shortening the game. You're down a couple scores and you have a full half left. You don't need to score quick you just need to score. Not saying it would have made a difference today. It is more a general observation for all teams. Why abandon what works best for your offense in teh first half when you are down a couple scores?

You don't completely abandon what works best, but you do alter it. LenDale is primarily a short yardage/goal line/burn the clock running back and none of those were applicable for most of the game (or season so far) so he hasn't been used much. He's a situational back and the situation never really came up to use him much.

Am I wrong for crowning the Saints as at least NFC champs already?

I'm clearly the resident Saints homer, but that's way premature. The Giants are really damn good too.

Yes, because there is a certain team in the NFC East that might be "Man" enough to beat the Saints.

I'm pretty sure Revis is the best corner in the league.

I'm pretty sure that's false.

Why not? He completely shut down Randy Moss last week and is completely shutting down Colston this game. Both times he matched up 1 on 1 a lot.

The Rams should be accompanied by Benny Hill music.

I was worried for awhile but then the defense decided to score when the offense couldn't.
