If we had done that against Matt Ryan last year we would've been in the playoffs. Good job not squibbing it, Lovie.

After the FG my first thought was not that inane squib Lovie!!!!!

Nice game Jay. No one picked the Bears. People were saying the season was over if the Bears lost. Now they are right back in the thick of things..

The Baltimore game has 7:00 left. Wow.

By people, you mean you right?

can anybody remember a game when robbie gould missed a big kick late in the game? i cant think of any

He doesn't even try the long ones. Still, he is a very reliable kicker. And he had a touchback. What a day for him.

And some others. If they lost today they would have to face a good Seattle team. Only 2 out of 78 teams who have gone 0-3 have ever made the playoffs.

My friend and I were laughing at the announcers questioning the Bears for being conservative in the 40-47 yard FG range. I have never felt more confident about a kicker than Robbie Gould. Most people know I'm a huge pessimist (but I've been better), but with Robbie, I just don't expect to see him miss. Best kicker in the NFL, and it was worth giving him all that damn money.

Please be ok Alex Brown. If he's seriously hurt, this is a VERY costly victory.

how can cutler take his helmet off on the field like that? smacks of favoritism

Didn't the ref knock it off?

Cutler had his helmet on the top of his head and the ref knocked it off. Time was called or the play was dead regardless.

well this makes up for last week......the bounces (and breaks) went the Bears way in a game they probably should have lost.

which "bounces and breaks" were those?

the two missed FG's, Olsen getting Forte's fumble, etc.

no, the play was live, cutler and the ref were watching the clock rundown so they could call a timeout. it was favoritism and bs plain and simple

I'm still concerned about the receivers. We need a big, strong guy that can catch the ball in traffic (other than Olsen).

The last thing I'd point to is the receivers after this game.

I understand what you are talking about, but yea.

I've got a bad feeling Urlacher' season ending injury set a tone for this season, I'm expecting to hear Brown' done for the season as well.

The Forte fumble. The Pittsburgh kicker missing two makeable kicks.

Being it Pittsburgh and having watched these beyotches celebrate 2 rings, I think this is the most satisfying win since beating New Orleans to get to the Superbowl in 2006. And surprisingly its very close to the same feeling.

The Davis catch wasn't half bad
