Awesome let's ask him to do seomthing he can't do, which isn't even a good baseball call, so he will inevitably get booed for not being able to do it.

Well, he can't really hit either.

Yeah this crap is absurd. Soriano has never, ever hit in his career. Every year it seems like he's about .220 with 19 homers. Plus he eats kittens.

We need to pick a position for Fox and have him play it everyday from October thu next April. Hopefully he'll get to a C+ B- rating there.

That's the problem, though. All of the positions he currently plays he'd be blocked at. They'd have to make him a LF/RF/1B/3B/C supersub, or (god and heaven forbid) try him out at another position like 2B.

Makes sense. He's so evil. I overheard him when he was on Texas saying onc he was a free agent that he would love to come sabbotage the Cubs. Pure Evil.

Or maybe he's not very good anymore and this is about what we can expect from here on out. .230/.300/430

2 on nobody out, leads to 0 runs. Where have I seen this show before?

It's very frustrating. What the hell happened to the team offense in one offseason?

I can't blame Soriano. The cuter the animal, the more delicious it is.

You don't want to see his puppy slippers. He'd even make Mr. Burns cringe with his wardrobe.

Some guys have a slow, gradual decline. Some guys fall right off a cliff.

Add 0-3 to our RISP avg. Hmm, love it! It's not like it's Hill/Miles/Pitcher all the time either. Ugh.

Why does Dempster always swing on the first pitch after the pitcher just walked the previous hitter? ](*,)

In this situation, it's not that bad of an idea. He's facing a pitcher with very good control that could afford to walk the previous hitter to get to Dempster. He's not going to want to fall behind Dempster, so the first pitch might be the best one he would see. If I'm Dempster, I treat that situation like a 3-1 count...look for a fastball in a specific spot, and if I get it, take a hard swing at it.

All that said, I'm listening on radio, so I didn't see the pitch he swung at.

Aaron Miles.

Makes sense. We are about 1-7 since he came back to save us.

It was ball 1 and one he couldn't have done anything with.

In that case, he shouldn't have hacked at it. However, I don't think that situation warranted an automatic take on the first pitch.

He can't hit. I would rather he take 3 pitches and make the pitcher work.

With the bases loaded? Against one of the better control pitchers in the majors? What's the point of that?
